Design Studio
In developmentShow them the ring
before you make it.
A design tool built for the person behind the counter. Turn a sketch into something a customer can say yes to, make your own photographs look properly shot, and build the still images your advertising needs, without leaving the shop or briefing anybody.
What it does
Four jobs a jewelry store keeps having to outsource
Show the ring before it exists
A customer who can see the piece says yes sooner and changes their mind less. Bring in a sketch, a CAD render, or a photograph of something close, and get back a finished visual you can put in front of them, set, lit, and on a hand if you want it there.
Fewer conversations that end in “let me think about it”.
Make your own photographs look shot, not snapped
Most store photography happens at the counter, at closing time, under whatever light is there. That is the reality of running a shop. Bring those photographs in and get versions that hold their own next to a manufacturer's catalog, clean background, even light, the metal reading as metal.
Your existing photo library, worth more than it was.
Put your words on it
A price, an offer, a date, a name. Type it, place it, and the type is set the way a designer would set it rather than the way a phone app would. Your logo is already on file, so it goes on in one tap.
No layout software, no waiting on anyone.
Build the still images your ads run on
Every video needs a companion. A square for the feed, something for the window card, a graphic for the sale that starts on Friday. Sized correctly for each placement, in the same set of shapes your videos already come in.
The other half of a campaign, made in the same place.
Who it is for
Three shops we keep hearing from
The store with a bespoke customer and a CAD file
You know what the ring will look like. They do not, and a wireframe render does not help. This closes that gap in a few minutes rather than a few days.
The store whose best photographs are on a phone
There is nothing wrong with the pieces. There is a lot wrong with the fluorescent tube above the counter. That is a solvable problem and it should not require a photographer.
The store that runs its own advertising
If the person choosing the stock is also the person building the Facebook ad at nine at night, the tools should be built for that person. This one is.
How it is being built
The rules we are holding ourselves to
Written down now, while it is still early enough for them to cost us something.
Built around a shop, not a studio
The vocabulary is yours, halo, shank, bezel, pavé, rose gold. Nothing here asks you to think in layers, masks or blend modes, because that is not your job.
Nothing recurring, quietly
Jewel Reels has never charged a subscription and the Studio will not start one. You will know what something costs before you make it, and there will be nothing to cancel.
Your work stays yours
Images you bring in are yours. Images you make are yours. Nothing you put through it is published, resold, or shown to another store.
Honest about what it cannot do
It will not replace a photographer for a campaign that deserves one, and it will not turn a bad photograph of a bad setting into a good ring. Where it is the wrong tool, it will say so.
Early access
We will write to you once
No date is being promised, because we would rather ship it right than ship it Tuesday. Leave your address and you will hear from us the day it opens, one email, and nothing else sent to that address ever.
In the meantime, the video catalog is live and custom work is open. Both are quicker than waiting for us.
